In this two day class, learn the process of lost wax casting.  Create jewelry, sculpture or anything you can dream of you would like to create in metal starting in wax.  Learn how to make connections in wax, make imprints and even sculpt in what will become a metal form!  

The first Sunday we will be strictly working in wax to create your form.  Your pieces will be cast over the week so the second class will be dedicated to cleaning, hand working, and finishing your piece.  Choose any metal you would like to cast your piece.  Class price includes wax, and tools.  Casting and metal charge will be an added cost depending on metal type and weight/scale of your piece.  On average casting in silver can range between $25-$75

2-Day Intro to Jewelry

Sunday April 15th  & Sunday April 22nd, 2018

10am - 5pm each day with a one hour lunch break. (Several cafes within one - two blocks)

Great place to begin if you want an quick jewelry making intensive.  In this 2 day class you will learn all the basics of metal working- design, sawing, cold connections, forming and finishing.  Create your own piece and wear it with pride or give as a gift to your favorite person!

Class includes all materials and tools. (Base metals only.  Silver available for purchase in class)
